According to reporting from The Daily Mail and Bloomberg, “at least 24 unnamed companies were also affected” in the ransomware attacks that caused the closure of the U.S. Colonial Pipeline. That closure has already seen a shortage of fuel and some states reporting gas lines forming at gas stations.
The U.S. government and private-sector companies apparently assisted and are still assisting the 24 unnamed companies that were also part of the ransomware attack.
The 5,500 mile Colonial Pipeline was shut down on Friday evening by the company when the ransomware attack was launched – seemingly by Russian-based cybercriminal group, DarkSide. Service was gradually being restored on Monday, reported The Daily Mail.
Joe Biden killed the Keystone XL pipeline.
Biden sent union workers packing and destroyed jobs to appease a tiny fringe of climate extremists. This move gutted American energy security & independence.
Now millions of Americans sit in gas lines & airlines don’t have fuel to fly.
