A number of doctors have proposed that we – America and the rest of the world – should be treating COVID-19 patients much earlier than current CDC guidelines state and with drugs the CDC does not recommend. The CDC’s website recommends that doctors not treat COVID-19 patients until they are admitted to a hospital – stating that there is insufficient data to recommend for or against any early treatment. Many doctors say this advice is contrary to the best interests of the patient.

Appearing before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Dr. Pierre Kory said that he cannot keep watching people die because they were not given treatment earlier in the COVID-19 disease cycle.

Dr. Pierre Kory, President of the Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), called for the government to swiftly review the already expansive and still rapidly emerging medical evidence on Ivermectin.

The data shows the ability of the drug Ivermectin to prevent COVID-19, to keep those with early symptoms from progressing to the hyper-inflammatory phase of the disease, and even to help critically ill patients recover. Dr. Kory testified that Ivermectin is effectively a “miracle drug” against COVID-19 and called upon the government’s medical authorities—the NIH, CDC, and FDA—to urgently review the latest data and then issue guidelines for physicians, nurse-practitioners, and physician assistants to prescribe Ivermectin for COVID-19.

“EARLY OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: AN ESSENTIAL PART OF A COVID-19 SOLUTION” HEARING IN U.S. SENATE

In addition to Dr. Kory’s Senate testimony, the Frontline Covid-19
Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC Alliance) issued a detailed report on the efficacy of treating COVID-19 patients with Ivermectin – a drug that has been used for over fifty years and has a very good safety rating. As noted above, they state that Ivermectin is safe and works in all phases of the disease’s progression — it can also be taken prophylactically to keep from ever getting COVID-19. And, it’s cheap….

The FLCCC Alliance is not the first group of doctors to recommend early treatment – America’s Frontline Doctors have been arguing since this summer that hydroxychloroquine is an effective treatment for COVID-19, particularly if used early phases of the disease.

Will the FDC, NIH and CDC pay any attention to these doctors’ report – which includes studies from many other physicians, researchers and hospitals?

Here’s a link to their report on the evidence and research trials supporting Ivermectin’s safety and efficacy in treating COVID-19.

As of today, CDC’s website provides the following regarding theuraputic treatment for COVID-19 patients:
