Tweets and videos – “this is the start of fascism” one Instagram user says.

In the below Tweet, it notes there have been nine Covid deaths – however that is over an eight-week period. Per the BBC, “a Delta outbreak which began in June has produced nearly 3,000 infections and led to nine deaths.” The more important issue appears to be not the deaths resulting from Covid, but the low rate of vaccination in Australia. Currently, the vaccination rate is at 18% – it started at 15% when the first five-week lockdown was enacted.

According to a report in Sott.net, the government of Australia wants 80% of its population vaccinated before lifting the military lockdown. Other sources state the government wants 70% vaccinated. A number of comments on social media from Australians reveal a lot of concern over the government’s seemingly totalitarian actions. Some wonder if the government will ever voluntarily lift the restrictions…

According to the Sun, Australia’s borders “remain shut until the percentage of the population to receive both jabs jumps from the current measly number of 17 percent to 80 percent.”

Additionally, Sky News Australia was kicked off YouTube and has not posted any videos for days. Sky News issued a statement calling the temporary suspension over “covid misinformation” by Big Tech giant YouTube a “disturbing assault on freedom of thought.”
