Professor Delores Cahill has been a staunch advocate against the continuation of worldwide lock-downs meant to protect us from exposure to Covid. Cahill was a professor of medicine at the University College Dublin (UCD) and taught a course for first-year medical students. She has a Ph.D. in Immunology from Dublin City University and was a group leader of the Protein Technology Group in the Max-Planck Institute of Molecular Genetics in Berlin. She also co-founded a biotechnology company, Protagen AG. We provide a glimpse of her biography as we explain why she has been issued an arrest warrant. Ms. Cahill has been speaking out against vaccine mandates, mask mandates, and lockdowns. The specific charges against her are “failure to answer bail” and two charges connected to a rally held in Trafalgar Square on September 19, 2020 – for a protest against virus restrictions and mass vaccinations.

At present, Cahill has not responded to the arrest warrant issuance and has not yet been arrested. She stopped teaching her first-year course at UCD this spring, stating she was going to retire; she is still listed as a staff professor there. Cahill’s views are clearly in juxtaposition to those of the U.K Government related to the U.K.’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic and have caused her to be demonized by many. However, her concerns over the adoption of the mask, vaccine, and lockdown mandates are shared by many of her peers in the field of medicine – specifically other immunologists. Shockingly, these experts disagree with the governments’ (not just the U.K. government’s) adoption of these mandates worldwide. Among her contemporaries who share at least some of her concerns are the “Disinformation Dozen” – a group of lawyers, researchers, and doctors that the Biden administration has publicly challenged and targeted for censorship.

In March 2021, the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH) and Anti-Vax Watch identified the “disinformation twelve” and called on social media platforms to take action against them.

The report calls on social media platforms to take action against the “disinformation dozen” during the ongoing vaccine. “Disinformation has become a direct threat to public health,” Imran Ahmed, CEO of the Center for Countering Digital Hate, said in a statement. The CCDH referred to the twelve as being part of the “Anti-Vaccine Industry.”

The Center for Countering Digital Hate and Anti-Vax Watch analyzed a sample of anti-vaccine content that had been shared or posted on Facebook and Twitter more than 812,000 times between Feb. 1 and March 16, 2021. They found that 65% of the content came from 12 accounts.

“In the midst of a global pandemic, the Anti-Vaccine Industry has executed a targeted campaign to mislead Americans about the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines,” he said. “Social media is enabling anti-vaxxers to recruit millions of Americans and indoctrinate them with fear and doubt.”

The “Disinformation Dozen” is made up of Ty and Charlene Bollinger, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Joseph Mercola, Sherri Tenpenny, Rizza Islam, Rashid Buttar, Erin Elizabeth, Sayer Ji, Kelly Brogan, Christiane Northrup, Ben Tapper, and Kevin Jenkins.

Interestingly, there are many more than twelve prominent individuals than those listed above who agree – some entirely, some in part – with the concerns that Cahill has represented. Why is the government really arresting Cahill? Why did the U.K., the U.S., Canada, and other governments move to limit the public’s movement and ability to meet with like-minded folks? Was it purely for health reasons? How effective were those measures in stemming the spread of the coronavirus – after the initial ’15 days to slow the spread’ mandate? Why are governments now silencing those who disagree with them?

There are some very prominent medical doctors and researchers who have asked very important questions – are we seeing the beginning of harsher clampdowns on their ability to express their informed opinions? If the U.S. government, directly from the president and on down, is comfortable asking for the silencing of a group of twelve who have informed opinions, what does that mean for the rights of all citizens to express and voice their own opinions, observations and thoughts regardless of whether they are informed or not? The U.S. Constitution clearly protects the rights of U.S. citizens to have freedom of speech – those rights had been upheld for over two hundred years.

The public has the right to hear dissenting opinions – or do we already live in a totalitarian state where the government can use corporations to silence dissenting views? If not already, we are getting very close to living in such a state of existence – the ability of those who dissent with the current government’s beliefs and actions is already being silenced on a daily basis. And, don’t forget, our government is actively monitoring, “informing” and shaping public opinion to serve its purposes. They have an office that deliberately redirects internet searches away from sources they believe the public should avoid…
